Our events bring together a diverse range of stakeholders from across the UK who are working to tackle poverty and make a difference. They give an opportunity for people to learn from each other, showcase good practice and celebrate the achievements of people working to tackle poverty.
Our last event was our annual conference, in March 2024: The Power of Place in Tackling Poverty. This focused on the role of local places in driving down poverty and boosting living standards, bringing together 170+ attendees from public, private, academic and voluntary sectors. Speakers included Kate Green (Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester), Debbie Abrahams MP, Hannah Al-Othman (The Sunday Times) and representatives from Oxfam and Save the Children.
We were generously sponsored by a range of organisations, including Oxfam, United Utilities, the Centre for Social Justice, and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
